The skiing

The skiing facilities in pamporovo are state of the art and cater to levels of skiers on groomed runs totalling 31 km downhill and 40 km cross country at an altitude between 1926 and 1450 m above sea level. A major infrastructure investment is under way in the area, called the Super Perelik Sport and Tourism Centre, which will connect Pamporovo proper to a much larger skiable area in neighbouring municipalities Smolyan and Chepelare.
There are ski runs of all degrees of difficulty in Pamporovo with most of the tracks starting from the very peak.
