The production in the construction industry in Bulgaria for October 2010, calculated on the basis of seasonally adjusted data, has decreased by 0.1% from the previous month, according to preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
Adjusted data show a decline from 10.7% of construction output in October 2010 compared with same month of 2009.
For September a decline of 1.1% monthly was reported and 13.1% yoy.
On a monthly basis output from building in October marked a decrease of 1.1%, calculated from seasonally adjusted data, while civil engineering is an increase of 0.9 percent.
Yoy decrease in construction output in October 2010 is determined primarily by the negative growth in building construction, where the decline was 18.7%, calculated from the day-adjusted data, while civil engineering is an increase of 4.7% .
