Riverland Ski & Leisure Resort is situated between Samokov and Borovets, the first and well-known Bulgarian winter resorts.
It is situated on the conterminous Borovets col in the eastern part of Rila Mountain and is located in pine woods 1390 meters above the sea level (with the highest ski slopes at 2600 m).
Riverland will be a part of the so called Low Borovets, one of the three areas of the largest and most expensive investment and development projects in Bulgarian history – Super Borovets.
The Super Borovets project will enlarge the current Borovets ski resort to encompass the nearby towns of Samokov and Beli Iskar. The Super Borovets project have been designed to bring the resort and Bulgaria to the forefront of holiday destinations and to ensure that Borovets will develop into all-year-round holiday destination with golf courses, SPA centres with mineral water treatments, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, cinemas, hiking & biking tracks as well as many other summer sports facilities.
Shapes – inspired by nature
Spread across 56,100 sq. metres, Riverland Ski & Leisure Resort is going to be a prominent residence in the Borovets region.

Walk in the Park

Sport
Riverland is the sports enthusiasts’ paradise. Only a kilometer away from Riverland entrance is the first gondola station. Property owners and their visitors could either use the shuttle buses or walk to it. Super Borovets will offer 65 km of superbly groomed and snow-guaranteed pistes. Not just ski hire but also several ski schools services are provided by some of the hotels in Borovets Ski Resort. Tireless skiers could even stay on the piste for night skiing.
For all winter sports fans there will be great conditions for ice-skating (especially so as the ice rink will be right outside your apartment door), snow boarding and winter walking. Leisure
In the SPA centre you can dive into the pleasures of sauna and the steam bath or even experience the Turkish bath delight.

Children

One of these lifts will be a multi-station gondola, which connects Borovets to Samokov giving skiiers an easy access to the slopes from Riverland Ski & Leisure Resort.

of Super Borovets they reside in.
The biking enthusiasts will also find great places to have their adrenalin flowing. The other activities that could fill you with great memories are the photo safaris that are organized nearby, hang gliding or collecting wild berries and plants.
With your daily concerns and busy pace behind you, you can better get together with your inner self fishing at Bistritsa River.
There also will be several golf courses in the immediate vicinity, all within easy reach by car.

Today Borovets is the biggest and most modern ski resort in Bulgaria. The winter in the resort can be mild with an average temperature during the coldest month, January, of 4.8+C. Usually the slopes of Borovets have snow cover from mid December till April.

Reservation fee for an apartment or studio is EUR 1500. If you want to reserve a duplex unit, the reservation fee is EUR 2500. Reservation period is 21 days from the moment of the reservation.
Payment Scheme is related to the construction process and it is scheduled as follows:
* 20% on preliminary contract
* 20% in January 2009
* 50% in December 2009.
* 10% on signing the notary deed
Construction works start in June 2008.
