Varvara is a small village, situated on the sea cost of the Black sea in the outskirts of the mountain peak Papia in the Strandja mountain. It is the only village between the coastal towns of Tsarevo and Ahtopol and one of the southern-most located villages on the Bulgarian sea coast.

Located on the territory of National park Strandja, the village is mostly famous with the beautiful sea. Although there is only one sand strap, it is one of the most beautiful all across the whole Black sea coast. The village has succeeded in preserving the nature and its crystal sea waters. It is surrounded with cliffs and gulfs, good for underwater fishing and diving.
The other advantage of the area is the mountain - if you've had enough of sunbathing or swimming in the sea, you can simply go for a hike in the mountain and see historical sites of ancient Roman villages.
